Madalina Barbaiani

I graduated in 2001 Computer Science, Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics Faculty of Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and in 2003 Faculty of Engineering Taught in Modern Languages (Computer Science, English Stream) of University Politehnica of Bucharest.

Starting from 2004 I am PhD student of the 3rd International PhD School in Formal Languages and Applications at the Research Group on Mathematical Linguistics (GRLMC) at Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain.

Currently I am an intern at XEROX Research Centre Europe in Grenoble, France where I work with asymmetric term alignment models for machine translation using ML and WFST techniques.
